Hartridge Buddhist Monastery | Pennine Oak Frames

A unique project to be part of, built over two phases. Initially we were asked to provide a large entrance porch, rear truss and covered walkway as part of a new accommodation block for a Buddhist monastery, plus the glazing for these structures using our direct glazing method for timber frames.

Two years later we were asked back to provide the frame for the main meditation hall. We came up with a sling brace truss design to create an open hall with an elevated feel, echoing the entrance porch frame. A really special project to be part of with lovely clients.
